The top 5 materials for your picking garden

Flowers in your garden will make you instantly happy!
Would you like to get started? Then make sure you have these top 5 essentials at home for a good start to your cutting garden.
1. Seed trays with lid and base tray.
You may have the best seed in the world, but successful sowing starts with good-quality sowing equipment.
Get a lid and base tray at the same time - that way you have a complete set to get started. You don't have to sow the same variety throughout the seed tray - it is useful to sow one variety per row. You can find seed trays here
2. Labels - labels - labels
Believe me (I speak from experience) - once you have sown a few different varieties, you sometimes no longer remember which variety was in which tray. That is why it is best to label your seed tray. With a waterproof marker, write the variety on it, put the label in, and you're done!
3. A patio greenhouse or greenhouse
You can sow indoors on a south-facing windowsill, but the period during which you can sow is fairly limited. Give yourself the pleasure of a long sowing period (and free windowsills :-) ) by purchasing a patio greenhouse or greenhouse.
4. Flower seeds for cut flowers
There are plenty of beautiful flowers, but not all of them are suitable for picking and keeping in a vase. Therefore, choose varieties that have proven to have a good vase life. That way, you can enjoy them both outdoors and indoors!

5. A spot in the sun
Besides your materials, this is actually a very important point. Flowers, and especially most annual varieties that make good cut flowers, love a spot in full sun. But what exactly is "full sun"?
That is a spot where your plant gets at least 5-6 hours of direct sunlight. So these are the warmest spots in your garden.
