Cucamelon – Mexican mini cucumber – Organic from Sativa
Cucamelon (Zehneria scabra), also known as Mexican mini cucumber, is a climbing plant that produces small, oval fruits the size of a grape. The fruits have a striking appearance reminiscent of miniature watermelons.
The flavour is fresh and slightly tart, making them ideal for snacking, adding to salads or using as an original touch in summer dishes. Thanks to its delicate foliage and playful fruits, cucamelon fits surprisingly well in a flower garden or pot, where it can grow upwards along a trellis, mesh or support.
