Tulip ‘Tasmania’ is a wonderful eye-catcher for anyone who loves warm, vibrant colours in the spring garden.

The richly filled flowers combine warm orange tones with golden yellow, giving them an almost glowing appearance. The full flower shape also gives Tasmania a lush and romantic feel.

With its sturdy stems of approximately 40–60 cm, it looks beautiful in borders and large pots, but for me it is especially interesting as a cut flower.

In a bouquet, Tasmania combines beautifully with apricot, peach, copper and warm orange. But alongside pink tulips, it also creates a surprisingly beautiful contrast.

That is why I also chose it for my cheerful Colour Pop Tulip Mix.

How to plant Tasmania

Plant the tulip bulbs in autumn, preferably between October and December, in well-drained soil.

Plant them approximately 10–15 cm deep, with the tip facing upwards. For a beautiful colour effect, plant several bulbs together in a group.

Tasmania also looks beautiful in a spacious pot or planter.
