Height varies between 50-80cm
How do you sow a flower meadow?
Take 2 to 3 grams per m². Never more than 5 grams otherwise the flowers will be too close together and not all species will have the chance to develop fully. Take a little vermiculite (you can find it here ) and mix it with the seed so that it is easier to spread.
The soil you are going to sow on is preferably poor (i.e. not fertilized and therefore poor in nutrients) and weed-free. Otherwise the weeds will quickly overgrow.
After sowing - depending on the weather - you should water your newly sown flower meadow. A moist soil will facilitate germination. Be careful with a hard jet of water - preferably mist gently, otherwise you will wash your seeds into 1 heap.
You can sow in the autumn (Sept-end of October) - then it will mainly be the perennial species that will flower in the spring. Or sow in the spring from March to May - then it is the annual species that will flower fastest from June.
